Stan Papa first developed a love for painting while serving in the Navy as a boatswain’s mate where it was part of his regular duties. After his service ended, he spent the next six years getting his footing in the industry and learning what it means to provide high-quality work and building a reputation of integrity with every customer. Stan’s personal values created a long-list of satisfied customers who started to refer Stan to their friends and family.
In 1986 Stan decided to it was time to build a company of his own and Gold Coast Painting, Inc. was born. In an industry where unethical behavior is far too common, Stan built Gold Coast in what he likes to call “an environment of integrity.” Customers receive high-quality painting for a fair price, painters receive fair compensation and respect on the job, and suppliers get honest dealings — a true win-win for everyone involved.
In 1994, Stan married his wonderful wife, Caryn. They have been raising a family in Ventura County and running Gold Coast Painting ever since. Caryn wears many hats for the business, but specializes in providing color consultations, as well as assisting with paint color selection. To help visualize the final product and ensure each customer is satisfied, we offer renderings of what your home/business will look like after it is painted.
